  • The North American Revolution
1775-1787

The North American Revolution is widely known as the struggle for independence against the oppression of British Rule. The start of this revolution was triggered by the creation of the Declaration of Independence. This is how the new colonies created new political change. Many changes resulted between the colonies and the Englishmen. One main difference is the way societies were created. Colonists created their lives around historic leadings. The reason for this revolution was not only because of the social tensions, but because of what British control was trying to achieve, which is tighter control over colonists and their money. The wonder of this revolution wasn't based on the fight but what political and social life was already forming in the colonies. The independences of life they wanted was what made this revolution the amazement it is today. Today in our modern government you the Bill of Rights, checks and balances, separation of church and state, etc because of the trials and errors the colonists went through.

  • The French Revolution
1789-1815

The French people in this time gave assistance to the Americans which then led the French to extreme bankruptcy. The French tried to communicate with the Americans with taxes and expenses that were taken by the Americans but ignorance was displayed. Unlike the North American Revolution, The French Revolution was started by economic troubles. Tension soon came into the picture of the society. Hunger grew, and the poor society grew as well. Throughout the revolution many believed that this revolution was devouring its down children. Unlike other revolution the idea of gender roles between both men and women. Women were being questioned about their political equality and how they contribute to any action in society. Having women have their own say in situations was very threatening to men and their own egos. This brought both conservatives and revolutionaries together to bring down the idea that women can be independent. They brought a new name to women called "domineering woman". This demeaning name made sure that women wouldn't be independent. Influence of the French Revolution started with the spread of feminism and societal changed.

  • The Haitian Revolution
1791-1804

The French Revolution echoed the loudest into the French Caribbean now known as Haiti. fuses were set by the ideas of equality of citizenship, and economic and societal changed/ rights. Slaves, free people, and whites began to fight for all their own rights and what they believed they had a right to in their lives. The name changed of their society came due to the fact they didn't want to be known as the people who were drug around with no say. They choose Haiti because it means mountainous. It was a symbol of their new found power. The Haitian Revolution stands has a stand in history of horror and a place that should be repeated. Political change is what took this revolution where it was.

  • Spanish American Revolutions
1808-1825

This revolution was sparked by all the experiences of the past revolutions and also their own political, societal, and historical experiences. Spanish colonies were being strictly controlled by their British counterparts and wanted to take the stand on their independence and what they felt they deserved. They didn't want their growth prohibited any longer, the movement of independence needed to be activated. Though Latin Americans were ready to fight for their independence it was done under great fear of losing what they already had. They feared that Latin American Elites would handle too much power and provoke severe danger to themselves and their people. The revolution between the Spanish and Latin Americans made both colonies realize what they needed for their own success. Both grew more independent, wealthy in industrialization and economically. Both took in more international influence. Though they both grew in many ways they also lead historically and politically different.
